W dniu 2 czerwca na Placu Kopernika odbył się XVII Opolski Festiwal Nauki, ukierunkowany, zarówno na promocję oferty edukacyjnej poszczególnych jednostek naukowo-badawczych, jak i  popularyzację i upowszechnianie osiągnięć poszczególnych dyscyplin wśród najmłodszych adeptów nauki.

Tegoroczny Festiwal Nauki był pierwszym, w którym wystąpiliśmy wspólnie (po połączeniu Instytutów), co tylko potwierdziło doskonałą współpracę pomiędzy pedagogicznymi kołami naukowymi. W organizację stanowiska nauk pedagogicznych czynnie włączyły się: Koło Naukowe Pedagogów, Koło Naukowe Pedagogiki Wczesnoszkolnej oraz Koło Naukowe Pracowników Socjalnych.

Instytut Nauk Pedagogicznych reprezentowany był zatem przez Panią Dyrektor ds. Kształcenia Nauczycieli (dr hab. Eugenię Karcz-Taranowicz, prof. UO), studentów (m.in. Paulinę Dziurdzik, Marię Koprek, Izabelę Kwoczałę, Agnieszkę Labusek, Klaudię i Patrycję Ławniczek, Roksanę Matysek, Annę Miller, Karolinę Moritz, Karolinę Nędzę, Justynę Przybyłek, Elżbietę Rudnicką, Stansisława Shchavinskyi`ego, Dobrosławę Tokarską, Aleksandrę Wyczachowską i członkiń Koła Naukowego Pracy Socjalnej) oraz koordynatorów – wykładowców akademickich: mgr Marka Wiendlocha, mgr Sławomira Kanię i mgr Pawła Cieśla.

W ramach promocji nauk pedagogicznych zorganizowano wspólne działania animacyjne, mające na celu integrację międzypokoleniową (poprzez wspólne zabawy dzieci, rodziców i seniorów). Atrakcjami wyróżniającymi nasze stoisko były wielkie bańki mydlane, unoszące się po całych błoniach, doświadczenia sensoryczne, ćwiczenia z pedagogiki cyrku (żonglerka, kręcenie talerzami cyrkowymi itp.) oraz zabawy z tęczową chustą animacyjną, która przypadła do gustu, szczególnie najmłodszym. Ponadto członkowie kół naukowych przygotowali szereg zabaw ruchowych, a także kreatywnie skręcali balony modelinowe, tworząc szczególnie zabawki, spełniające marzenia najmłodszych. Dodać należy również, że w Instytutowym namiocie w trakcie festiwalu, wyświetlana była prezentacja multimedialna
z ofertą rekrutacyjną instytutu na rok akademicki 2019/2020.

Kończąc pragniemy serdecznie podziękować przede wszystkim studentom, którzy mimo słonecznej niedzieli wytrwali i pokazali, czym jest obecna pedagogika i dlaczego warto zostać pedagogiem.
